The design of a new dementia unit that provides secure and well serviced accommodation with minimum staffing levels.
Outcome
- Five separate single level houses of 15 beds each arranged around a central hub
- Secure dementia gardens without the use of fences
- Full visibility to all houses from a single nurse station
