Objective

Redesign of critical site for mixed- use development in the Rockdale Town Centre. The aim was to minimise the building height, reduce basement depth and eliminate structural transfers, all of which was achieved.

Outcome

• One of the first projects to test the Urban Design framework and considered benchmark by Council
• 18 apartments
• Commercial space at ground level
• Demonstrated optimum outcome from design controls
